Choosing between FAB POPS® and PopSockets? Both make phone grips, and both are good at the basic job of giving your fingers something to hold. This page sticks to facts you can check, with links to each company's own pages. Details were checked on November 3, 2026, and companies change their products and policies, so confirm anything important before you buy.
The short version
- FAB POPS: a patented expandable grip with built-in magnets and a kickstand. The Anywhere grip is $15.99 and includes the Anywhere Disc for mounting. Every product is covered by a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects.
- PopSockets: the best-known name in phone grips, with a large range of designs, including a PopGrip for MagSafe.
Magnets and mounting
FAB POPS grips have magnets built in. The Anywhere grip has 4 built-in magnets and holds approximately 6 pounds total, and the included Anywhere Disc lets you mount your phone on a dashboard, desk or wall. The Anywhere grip is not a MagSafe-style product.
If you want a MagSafe-style magnetic grip from FAB POPS, there are two: the Snap-On Magnetic Phone Grip ($24.99, ring included) and the ANYWHERE MAX, which is magnetic on both sides. PopSockets sells MagSafe versions of its PopGrip as well; see their product page for the current range.
Wireless charging
The Snap-On Magnetic grip works with a 15W wireless charger without removing it. The ANYWHERE MAX supports wireless charging once the grip is removed. The adhesive Anywhere grip is not wireless-charging compatible. For PopSockets, check the product page for the model you want.
Warranty: how each works
FAB POPS: every product is covered against manufacturing defects for life, regardless of where it was bought. Covered defects include a magnet that will not hold, a grip mechanism that fails under normal use, or adhesive that will not bond on first use. To activate coverage you register online and email a photo or PDF of your receipt. If a defect comes up and the claim is approved, you pay a flat $5.99 shipping and handling fee and a replacement is sent. Normal wear and tear, damage from drops or accidents, misuse, and improper installation are not covered. Full terms are on our warranty page.
PopSockets: PopSockets publishes a limited warranty. According to its page, the warranty is non-transferable and covers only the original end purchaser, and it requires a copy of the sales receipt from an authorized PopSockets retailer. Read their page for the duration, coverage and exclusions.
