Do I need a MagSafe phone?
No. Both grips come with a magnetic ring you stick onto any phone or firm case, so the grip snaps on whether or not your phone has magnets.
What is the difference between the Snap-On and the MAX?
They look the same and both come with the ring. The Snap-On has magnets in the base only. The ANYWHERE MAX has magnets on both sides and includes the Anywhere Disc mounting plate, so you can mount your phone almost anywhere.
Does it stick to metal without the ring?
Yes. The base magnets snap straight onto any magnetic metal surface. Magnets do not hold to aluminum, brass, copper or most stainless steel.
Will it work with my case?
It works with most firm cases. The ring is not made for silicone or soft rubber cases; on those, stick the ring to the phone itself.
Can I charge wirelessly?
Snap the grip off for the best wireless charging. Results vary by charger and case.
